Repairs and improvements available

Remote help or a visit?

Describe what appeared, when it started and whether you entered passwords or payment details. Attended remote checks can examine many software and account concerns, but no guarantee is made that every file or account can be recovered.

Attended remote help is available wherever you are for problems that can be handled on screen. You remain in control throughout. If hands-on attention is needed, we can arrange a Bristol or nearby visit; longer journeys can be discussed where practical.

Starting price: £25 per 30 minutes. Parts and any agreed travel are separate.

Before work starts

  • If money may be at risk, contact your bank promptly and use the official fraud-reporting service for your location
  • No guarantee is made that every file or account can be recovered

In England, Wales and Northern Ireland, use the police Report Fraud service to report fraud or cybercrime.

What to have ready

  • Do not click links or call numbers shown in a suspicious pop-up.
  • Write down the message, website or account involved.
  • If money may be at risk, contact your bank or payment provider promptly.

Keep passwords and private documents out of your enquiry. We’ll discuss any access needed during the session.

What happens next

  1. Describe the symptoms through the contact form, or call us.
  2. We suggest the most practical route: remote help, a Bristol-area visit or a wider visit by arrangement.
  3. You approve the likely charge before repair work begins.

Your questions answered

Can you remove a virus or scam pop-up?

We can assess unwanted software, browser hijacks and scam pop-ups and explain cleanup steps. Some cases may need further specialist or account-provider action.

What if I gave details to a scammer?

Contact your bank or payment provider as soon as possible. We can help review device and account signs, but cannot reverse a payment or guarantee account recovery.

Can this be done remotely?

Often, yes, through attended remote support after a phone conversation. You remain in control; if the equipment needs physical checks, a visit can be discussed.
